The VCC Architectural Committee is holding the next meeting via conference call on April 8, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. In order to comply with the mayor’s Stay at Home orders during COVID-19. Due to the current extenuating circumstances, it is not practical for the VCC to schedule a typical, full agenda. At this time the VCC will schedule only issues that need serious, immediate attention; projects which could have dire, existentially detrimental damage should they be deferred until the end of this situation (i.e. structural issues, serious demolition by neglect, etc.). Items that do not meet these criteria will be reviewed once the Committee returns to normal operation. Given the nature of immediacy for these meeting, the next meeting has not been scheduled. VCC Staff will notify the public when the next meeting has been scheduled.
To dial-in to the teleconference use:

Here are the documents for the meeting (we will update this list if/when changes are made):
For applicants, it is imperative that someone dial in to the meeting to answer questions or concerns of the Committee. If no one can call in to represent an application, the matter may be deferred.
The Committee will consider each application in the order of the scheduled agenda. Please note that there will be a 30-minute recess following the presentation of all the staff reports to allow for the submittal of public comment. As a reminder, Committee approval does not constitute a permit; work may not begin until staff has given final approval and issued all necessary permits, which must be signed by the applicant or a representative before it is considered valid.
The Vieux Carré Commission does hereby certify that it is unable to hold a committee meeting under regular quorum requirements due to Covid-19. On authority of the Governor under Section 4 of Proclamation Number JBE 2020-30 the April 8th Committee meeting will be held via teleconference on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at 12 pm. All efforts will be made to provide for observation and input by members of the public.
Please note that the VCC lost our email list because of the cyber-attack. A small email list has been rebuilt but feel free to forward this agenda to other interested parties and let them know that if they would like to be added to our email list to please email Nick Albrecht at [email protected] with the subject “Email List”.
